Are you looking for an easy to make green yummy snack for the whole family?
A crunchy snack made of KALE leaves is a great option. The amazing nutritional value of this leaves/seeds/yeast combo is a bonus…
INGREDIENTS:
KALE leaves, nutritional YEAST FLAKES, SESAME SEEDS, and a small spoon of raw coconut oil
Rip the kale off the stalks. Try to leave the leaf as whole as possible. (I usually save the kale stalks and use them in savoury veg crackers)
Massage the coconut oil into the kale and sprinkle generously with sesame seeds and yeast flakes.
Place on dehydrator sheets and dehydrate at 115F degrees until thoroughly dry. *you can use your oven on a very low temperature.
Store in an airtight container in a cool dry place for up to 1 month. I bet there’s no storing required as they get eaten fast…
Enjoy!
PS: You may want to consume these in moderation if you’re a breastfeeding mother. Watch out and observe the baby, there is a chance is it will get gassy. Kale belongs to “Brassica” family…
