I like to work out. I truly do. It wasn’t always like that, and that maybe a theme for a future post. Feeling strong in your own body is an addictive sensation.
Exercise after years became a habit. Don’t need much but need often. As every mother who feels tired, and knows what sleepless nights mean – to make yourself exercise in days like that- it’s not easy.
Having maternity nurse around you who has a habit of exercising can be a powerful motivational tool to try to get to your postnatal workout. Share the workout tips and resources. Sometimes go for walk together and practice some Yoga or Pilates poses while watching baby together.
It is always better to have someone who stimulates you in a good way to get up and get moving, turns the good music on, invites you to join in a lovely walk or fun stretching session.
If the fitness attitude goes hand-in-hand with knowledge about healthy nutrition, it is then a double bonus with your nanny.
Even though I speak on this blog mostly about maternity nurses and baby nannies – I think content of this brief post can apply to nannies in general.
It may seem silly but you really want someone who does have stamina and can carry your children around safely…
Girl who always has energy to go out for a walk because she knows it is good for her, it doesn’t feel like a chore or an order she is following.
Outdoors is what you want for your baby.
